OpenCode is my primary coding agent for day to day development. I use it for planning changes, scaffolding features, and working through tasks directly in the terminal alongside my codebase, rather than relying on a separate chat interface.
agentEach project has its own memory bank that keeps track of key decisions, conventions, and context. So I don't have to re-explain how the project works every time I start a session, and the agent can make suggestions that actually fit the existing codebase.
contextI use the skills that make sense for each project, this means Laravel conventions for backend-heavy applications, Flutter patterns for mobile development, and so on. Rather than forcing every project into the same setup, I give the agent the right context for the stack I'm working with, so its output feels much closer to how I'd actually build it.
